My Virgin Mobile - Lg Optimus Elite keeps turning on and off. i tried charging it to see if it would stop but it didn't. Then i had tried taking the battery out then it started doing it again. After that i tried checking online for solutions, im finally coming here as a last result to help find a solutuion to stop it form turning on and off on its own, so please HELP.
Mine sometimes does this but only if it freezes and cant load something.
First, make sure if this problem appear after you install any APP, if so you can try to brush system to fix it.
Else maybe the following cases:
1, mobile phone motherboard leakage lead the current too large.
2, The inside circuit protection of the lithium battery is too sensitive, so it power off when circuit is large.
3, the battery itself is aging.
4, Battery contacts are dirt-bit, causing bad power supply.
5, The engagement between the battery and the phone is easy to loose bits.
Of course, don't forget to see if the power button is back to its own place

Take the battery out. Then put it back in. I couldn't find anything that would work but doing a hard reset. Once I did that the phone worked again. I lost everything but my phone works again.
To hard reset the Virgin Venture please follow the instructions below:
Start with the phone turned off.
The Venture will reboot to the initial setup screen
Note: You will see the word hello on the screen for about 5-7 seconds.
Note: The volume button scrolls and the enter/return key selects
