How to get video and audio from sony dcr pc2e into macbook

I have macbook pro with leopard running on it. i'm trying to find a best way to get video & audio from my sony dcr pc2e into my computer. is there any converter to convert dv out from the camera into inputs for macbook pro?

You should be able to use firewire and iMovie to get the video over in DV format

Just get a FireWire 4–6 cable and plug it straight in. Any of the movie applications in OSX will see it (iMovie or Final Cut)

How do i connect my sony dcr pc2e to a computer to download video
This is probably going to be a camera driver issue. Look for the updated drivers for that camera to your operating system. Make sure also to have the correct firewire driver which is usually on the sound card. Check soundcard drivers as well if your port is on it.

How to connect a macbook pro and a handycam DCR-DVD105.
If your cam has a firewire connection, you could plug it into the macbook and use iMovie to transfer the videos over. You can also get an external DVD drive to put those tiny DVDs into to transfer it over.

I think you are expecting camera to covert VCR analog video-audio signal into digital so it can be record in Macbook?

Camcorder will not do this job and you need to hookup VCR with DVD Recorder to burn DVD of VHS tape.
