It won't turn on and I have had it plugged in for 2 day
Yes, press and hold the power button, for up to 30 seconds, or until the "N" logo appears on the screen.
If it does not, suggestions are that the battery is dead or not charging because the power cord itself is broken or frayed inside the cable and you will need to replace with either a B&N cable or a Micro USB cable.
It could also be the wall charger unit is no longer functioning, and this must be replaced.
I have so far replaced one wall charger and three USB cables, so this is a unnecessary common event with Nook
That happened to me so just hold the power button untill it turns the power off. It might take a while to power off though.
TRY a hard reset on the Nook if that doesn't work i know of this fantastic site BNTPrice.com that sells them for cheap. i hope this works for you
Press the "n" button to display the quick nav bar.

In the Device Settings section, tap Device Info.
Tap Erase & Deregister Device.
Stop. Think. Think again.
If you really, really want to do this, go to Step 7. If not, tap the Back button.
Tap the Erase & Deregister Device button.
