Hi
You should find the drivers you are looking for on the Asus website.

Hello, My my motherborad is ASUS p5rd1-vm;RAM1GB and hard disk is PATA 80 GB but the HDD is having some kind of problem and the windows have shown a warning about it several times. Now i want to buy a...

Yes, it's compatible with the motherboard, no, it's not compatible with the XP install disk because it doesn't have SATA support. And since Asus doesn't provides it special driver needed (one that must be put on a floppy) it means that you simply cannot install XP on this disk.
All you can do is to obtain another PATA hdd what ever its size and install XP in it. Then put the new SATA disk in and use it to store all the installed programs and all your files on it. As a bonus you won't lose them if the new PATA disk fails or XP gets corrupted.
Or install Vista or 7 instead of XP, the have support for SATA disks

Can not installing windows xp & cant detecting the sata hard drive how can i installed the sata drivers

The problem is that XPinstallation CD does not have a SATA driver, unless you have a SATA drive on adisk etc. and can install the driver when XP asks for a hard drive driver then,XP cannot detect the hard disk and therefore won't install XP. The FIX. Go into the BIOS anddisable the SATA drive, this will make XP think it is a IDE/PATA hard disk. Then install XP normally. After Windows XP is installed then install all the device drivers (including the SATAdriver), then shut down and boot up and got into the BIOS and enable the SATAdrive.

I have an asus p5rd1-vm motherboard. I found problems on installing windows xp using sata hdd. Please help me to install windows xp2 as i am not using floppy drive.

The Windows installation CD does not have a SATA driver. You need a SATA driver of a floppy disk or turn off SATA native driver in the BIOS.
Please click on this link and follow my instructions on how to Install Windows on a SATA hard drive :-
http://www.fixya.com/support/r4335035-installing_windows_xp_sata_hard_drive
I suggest you install SP3 (service pack 3) rather than SP2, it contains the latest bug fixes. The SP3 cannot be installed from a floppy, it can be downloaded from Microsoft, it is a large file approx 300Mb, I suggest you install it from a CD if you can borrow one.

Sata HDD NOT DETECTING IN XP SETUP

If you're using a scsi card and connecting the hard drive to the card you need to have the scsi set-up floppy disk. When the blue screen starts during windows installation watch the bottom of the screen. It will tell you to press F6 key then to insert the floppy disk.
If you're using a sata drive connected directly to the motherboard (not in a raid configuration) you shouldn't need anything but the windows disk. The motherboard drivers and utilities disk should have the files to create the scsi install disk.

If Microsoft still provide "UP DATE" for XP why you want to install other OS?

Problem installing Windows XP with Asus P5RD1-VM series mothboard

Hi!
You need to copy the SATA drivers from the motherboard CD into a floppy diskette.
When you are booting with the windows xp installation CD you can see a message that says:

Press F6 for raid drivers

Press that key so windows installation CD look for the SATA drivers.
