Kindly check if there is enouh developer in the unit .if there is check the glass covering the laser unit and clean it.
if there there is no developer then change it and the problem is solved

Check OPC drum and charging roller.
Go to service mode and set develop
asterisk * button then press at a time 2 and 8 again press asterisk * button
select copier>adjust>develop
touch on develop increase the develop value 10, 20 as your satisfaction..
Most scanners cannot copy light blue lines due to the lightwave color of the scanner lamp. This is inherit in the system and cannot be fixed. Some scanners use a lamp that can see blue, but then those don't always see light red.

if you darken the copies with the contrast adjustment and it is still light then you need to replace the drum... if its still light then replace the scan lamp...
That is often an un-fixable problem. However, sometimes a fully charged fresh set of batteries will handle. (Use high-quality rechargables, not disposable alkalines.) Also try power cycling the unit several times.
Copy lamp has blown, light should shine in where original is placed.... it isnt lighting the paper up, so reflection received is black hence black transmit/copy result
It is just a small specilised floro but would probally be more ecomomical to replace machine than to fix it.
