Laptop boots up then after reaching desktop it reboots, reboots..

to get a short cut to desk top click on the start icon ( little flag world in bottom lh corner )
click on all programs , scroll down until you get the program you want on desktop, click and drag it across to the desk top and let it go
that is your shortcut on desktop
do that for all programs you want on desktop

Go in control panel click on Add or remove programs or programs and features Look for Bing Desktop or something like that. And double click it to uninstall.After the uninstall is done reboot the computer then it should be gone.

First - re-seat the hard disk and reboot the computer. If the computer does not boot up then reboot and go into the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If it doesn't detect the hard drive then it could be faulty.
Then the hard drive needs to be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer or laptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioning computer/laptop again.

reboot it in safe mode and if it shows desktop restart once again
booting in safemode hold F8 while restarting your machine choose start window in safe mode and hit enter

Enter the BIOS mode and choose boot from CD drive.
You need to explore by yourself to find the boot sequence
Or directly press button that show on LOAD SCREEN when you on your PC to enter BOOT MENU

Find the Yahoo Messenger program in your programs list, right-click the Yahoo Messenger program icon, choose Send To Desktop - Create Shortcut.

This should fix your problem. Even w/o your installation disk. I have used this program to fix Pc's I have picked up off the side of the road. I would hit the power button, it would show the BIOS then it would stop and shutdown. This fixed 99% of them I have picked up.

using a torrent program ie (utorrent, shareaza, etc) download SPINRITE.exe.

Burn this on a disk, the program is written with freedos included, but this will not work with 100% of laptops.

if the program stops and shows you a red screen with an error, use a program such as PowerISO to burn the disk and make it a bootable image by adding a .bif
after burning the program to disk-

• insert disk and reboot
• press any key to boot from cd if asked
• when you see Prompt, change to your default cd drive.
  
• type SPINRITE to start program
• use recovery option 5

this may take a few hours or a few days depending on the condition of the HDD.
I have used this program to fix computers I've picked up on the side of the road. I would power it on, start to load then go into a loop. after running this program overnight I was able to reboot (after removing disk) and the pc started right up.

Make sure you run a program like Ccleaner (you can get at www.fileippo.com) to clean your registry and junk files after completion. ^_^

To reset the bios, hit F2 during POST and you can reset the defaults in there.

For Windows, insert your Windows CD/DVD and re-install windows by hitting any key when the prompt comes up and then following the directions on screen. Make sure you use the key on your computer when it asks for it after it reboots.
