Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher DS603- water not draining out

Issues:- 1) Water not draining out; wash cycle would start and then after a while, intermittent beep (every 4-5 minutes) and when we opened dishwasher,  see water accumulated (about 1-2cm high). Tried to press the Start button but does not work. Had to turn off dishwasher and close the drawer and  after 5-10 seconds, hears the water being drained out automatically.
2) Not starting from wash cycle even after turn off/on. - Turn on - Choose Normal cycle - Hears water filling up and seems to wash but then quickly gets the beep and when open, the same issue above but also, inside is not warm and dishes are not cleaned (seem to have done a rinse cycle??) Not sure if related to above issue.

    No code displayed.
Got a tradesman to fix it.
Tradesman told me that the issue is the washer door did not close
properly (the washer is a built-in one). He re-adjusted the tilt on the washer and so far working fine for 1+ weeks.

Top half of my dish washer beeps when i push the power button

you will find this diagnostic service document useful.

The likely reason for top drawer not starting wash program when you press start button is the drawer home sensor is either faulty or the drawer is misaligned. This means controller thinks the drawer is open and does not start the cycle.

DS603 fisher paykel motor noise when starting up

The pump and motor for DD603 is the same device. It is a rotor lodged inside a cavity under the drain filter plate. I am assuming the dishdrawer is drained properly and at end of the wash there is no water sitting inside. You need to take the rotor device out from its cavity and check for damage. This video will help.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXzuJvKIIgU

I have a Fisher Paykel DD24 dishwasher and when using top drawer after wash cycle is complete there is always water in drawer. Top drawer is unable to drain water after wash cycle is complete...what can I...

If the cycle is complete and dishes are clean, then you need to worry. Try to pull the drain hose up a bit under the sink. Also buy a Finish dishwasher cleaning kit and run dishwasher as per instructions on the kit. That should clean any obsrtuctions in the drain side.

I have a Fisher and Paykel single drawer dishwasher. When each load is done, the dishwasher is empty of water, but in-between cycles, it slowly fills with clean water. I can stop this by turning off the...

I am assuming it is DS603 model.
You should check if the water pressure is not too high and put a reducer valve in the water tap.

More likely the inlet valve in dishwasher is faulty. Refer item 18 on page 13 of this parts manual.
You will have to check which of the 2 single valves apply to your model.

The part can be purchased from this site after confirming the part number from the manual above.

Appliance: Fisher&Paykel DD603 Draining

You may want to check up if the water collects in the bottom drawer when the top drawer is in wash cycle (ie, taking water from the inlet) or during the drain cycle when it is draining water out. Leave the bottom drawer open and check while the top drawer is running.

My Dishwasher is DS603 and it stop on minutes 26 during a cycle and never continue.

Hi- sounds like your heater plate is bad. The cycle wont continue unless the water reaches a specific temperature for that point in the cycle.

Fisher Paykel dishwasher drawer won't stop.

Let's go to diagnostic test mode to see if you can retrieve the the actuator hence the tube out.
1- Press Lock button and start/pause key until the display showing up.
2- Press Power to show HO.
3- Press start button to advance the display until you see P2 for draining, if you pass, keep doing it to get it back in a loop.
4- When at P2, press lock to turn on, press a again to turn off.
5- Listen to the sound of the pump. If you hear nothing that means the pump is dead or stuck.
6- The Motor has 2 directions: one for, Rinse and one for Drain. When you done with the diagnostic, press the power button to get out of the mode.
7- If this is the case, unplug the power then remove the rack, the bottom stanless steel plate with holes then take out the rotor to clean up. It is a good design the stator is outside of the tube, so you don't have to worry too much about the complication.
8- Make a note of all the positions so you can put them back the same as they were. Good luck
