My heater control valve has a small leak it looks like water is dripping from it

Not enough information to fully answer question.

Control valve is usually associated with the gas line and gas control valve.
There should not be water dripping from control valve.

If you are uncertain about parts on gas water heater, I suggest calling service technician.
There are several advantages. The technician can service the appliance and ensure there is no dangerous gas leaks or dangerous CO vent leaks.
And if your water heater is rusted and leaking, then service technician can prevent a possible flood.

Some gas is heavier than air and settles to floor, so always check for gas smell near floor level.
The combustion product from a water heater contains odorless CO which is poisonous, and must be vented outdoors so it will kill other things besides you.
The service technician can also see maintenance issues since gas water heaters require yearly maintenance, and some require more frequent attention.
Finally the service technician can give you a few tricks and tips for taking care of your water heater.

If you add a comment with the brand, type and model number of water heater, I can possibly locate a manual for that product which can help both you and me understand your water heater better.

Upvote the help.
And take advantage of fixya expert assistance live.
For a price, expert works with you while you work on water heater or any do-it-yourself project.
Fixya is always less expensive than a service call.

Water leaking (dripping) into the drum when machine is off. Drip is coming from where water dispenses into the machine to fill the drum.

Hi just read your posting. The fault with your machine is a faulty water valve.1st turn off the cold tap to the machine and leave for a couple of hrs.If the dripping stops you have a faulty cold valve. If the dripping does not stop then turn off the hot tap and that should stop the leak.Either way to fix this fault a water valve must be replaced.Or you can stop the drip by just turning the taps off after the washing has finished.Hope this helps and please reply for further help if needed.

Water dispenser leaking dispenses ok, but does not always shut off fully resulting in a slow drip. Like a dripping tap might be just a washer?

you have a faulty water valved solenoid. when you actuate the water lever, the solenoid opens, to allow water flow, then closes to stop it. When you continue to get a dripping before or after, its because the solenoid is not closing completely. Only resolution is to replace the water valve.

Whirlpool gold refrigerator icemaker leaking water

Either the inlet valve is stuck or the icemaker solenoid is shored.

Most likely the second one.

Dripping water dispencer

Dripping problem is from 2 sources.  Faulty water valve or faulty water connector behind refrigerator.  If the dripping is constant and doesn't seem to end, then it's a faulty water valve.  If the dripping stops after awhile, then the water connector is allowing air into the water line causing the dripping.  Have that connection checked to make sure that it's securely in place.
