Issue is worn out feed rollers. There are three. One in the tray itself and two after you remove the tray. Look up into the printer from where you removed the tray and replace those two rollers

Shoulg you not find any of these mentioned error codes, I suggest you contact the tech support especially if the machine is still under warranty.

Check the paper feed tray for bent papers. Also, try blowing over the sensors to clear any debris. Check for small pieces that may have been left behind. If all fails, unplug it from the outlet, then start it up. Good luck!

J1 mean any paper jam in paper feed area or sensor displace.lower cassate or multi pass tray.clear jam paper then solve your problem.

You manually rotated the aluminum drum? Since you did that, I would suspect you have the print head wiper blade stuck between the drum and print head. The code you are getting it caused by the print head not being able to move freely.
The jamming is probably due to a bad registration clutch. Common failure on that machine.
You can go to Xerox.com, there is under documentation and drivers a parts list for that machine. You can reference the wiper blade and get the clutch part number there.

There could be two things. First, be sure the paper tray is not binding. The metal plate in the middle should spring up easily. The friction pad should be firmly attached to the tray, but not extending over the metal portion. The second thing would be to clean or replace the feed rollers. They are inside the machine above where the tray would sit. Since the tray feeds when full, I don't think you have a clutch problem. Let me know how it goes.

What jam code are you getting. I suspect a registration clutch issue. But there should be a code associated with the jam.
I would like to look that up and narrow it down for you.
