My company provided me wired internet using Paradyne 6381 wired modem. it works fine. I have D Link 2640 T wirelss modem + router available with me. Please advise me how do I connect available D link 2640...

Since your D-Link 2640 is a modem + router it may not work the way you intend.

You need just a wireless router without modem.

Run a small Ethernet patch cable from your Paradyne modem into the WAN port on your router, you can plug your existing Ethernet cable into one of the other LAN ports on the router, then access the router setup using the computer connected to the Ethernet cable using a browser and putting the router's IP address into the address line of your browser. It will most likely be 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.

Once you have configured the Wi-Fi router you will have your wireless network. Full instructions should come with the router.

Routers are available for as little as $29.95 but expect to pay closer to $79.95 for satisfactory speed and capability.

I cannot connect to xbox live because my xbox360 cannot find my network

i had this exact problem. the reason mine wasn't working was because the security settings for my wireless router were set on wp2a and the xbox 360 can't pick this up. change your wireless router security to wpa and you should be fine...after i did this it saw my network and i was fine

I cant connect my xbox360 or my printer to my cable router

Are you connecting the Xbox via wireless?
Try changing the router wireless authentication to WPA-PSK with TKIP encryption.
XBox and PSP have problems with WEP.

My PSP online play

If you can play at your brother's house, and your router does not work, and your router is set up correctly, then it IS your router, some of which i've had issues with in the past are just horrible and dont work with certain connections.

Problem with browser on my psp

I don't think the problem is with your PSP. It may be you router (Internet connction). Have you tried unplugging your router and plugging it back in after a minute? That usually does the trick for me when my PSP is having trouble getting on the net.
