I think you have the wrong category.
Hello, I wish I had found this when it was fresh, but for all who stumble across this post in the future, the answer is this.
Your temperature sensor is failed, not communicating with the mother board properly, is not plugged in, the cable is broken, the mother board has failed, or some similar issue connected with the sensor.
I've been rebuilding these controls systems for nearly 15 years now, and it is always the temps sensor.
Feel free to call us to discuss your options.

Most notebooks have touch sensitive pads or switches underneath the keyboard, unlike a normal keyboard which is less complicated. You can try and remove keyboard and check underneath, but it may be that the circuitry that works certain banks of keys is damaged or shorting. Not a job for faint hearted i would recommend a qualified repairer.

You may need to re-install the keyboard drive.
If a new keyboard is requested, you can go to the website: www.battery-adapter.com/

I would remove the hinge / power button cover again and make sure the little pip that presses the button down it not broken, also check the little circuit board with the switch on to make sure it's not disconnected.
Try switching on with the cover removed.
