The original wires in the 95' thunderbirds are a pain, trying to figure out how to take out factory stereo and replace with aftermarket Sony cd player, have no clue because the wires don't match up, some do and they will load and unload discs but won't power up any suggestions...?!?
Go to http://www.mybecker.com/. Click on the Mobile Navigation link and select your model number. On the specific model # page, there is a Downloads link that gives you the option to download an 'operations guide.'
