Hi im josh in cebu phils.may i help you? Friend the problem is the ink level dropped 3/4 after printing 7 pages and low exclamation mark in red. Friend it is the real deal since you are using a free ink cartrdge with your printer that ink is only a sample one and the content of that cartridge is not full thats why it dropped to empty in just a few pages of printing. It just appear full in the ink level monitoring since the printer auto detects new cartridge on the tank. It is just so You need to buy a new ink cartridge the one with the full content.and i'm sure it will last a long time since it is already full. thats all friend good luck hope i helped you.

Not printing black anymore

The link level display doesn't always show the correct information. To begin, try to wet the part where the ink flows, with a damp paper towel or just a towel. Sometimes the ink just dry up. If that does not work, you probably need another black ink. If there was a problem with the printer itself you would had been notify by the computer, you know, like a pop up window.

I have a HP Deskjet 882C printer and for the past month we are having problems printing text (B&W). We have removed the black ink cartridge and it still has a lot of ink in the cartridge. When we put a...

To clean the HP Inkjet print cartridges from the HP Toolbox, using a Windows operating system, perform these steps:
  1. Double-click the HP Toolbox icon on the computer screen.
  2. Click the Printer Services tab.
  3. Click Clean the print cartridges and follow the directions on the screen.
If the print quality improves after completing this sequence once, but the quality is still not quite good enough, repeat procedure. Start at Step 1, or click the Clean Again button on the final cleaning window. If this process does not improve the print quality, the HP Inkjet print cartridges might be low on ink. See the document that is provided with the black HP Inkjet print cartridge for instructions about how to use the ink level sensor to determine if the cartridge is low on ink. Replace the HP Inkjet print cartridges, if appropriate.

How to reset the ink level for a HP 60 ink cartridge? I have just refilled a HP 60 black ink cartridge but can not find anything on how to reset the ink level. I would do the "3 ink cartridge" trick but I...

You cannot reset the ink level indicator for the HP 60 ink cartridge. It shouldn't matter anyway because the level is only estimated for "management purposes only" (see user manual) meaning to let you know when it's near time to order a new cartidge. I have tried cycling through 3 different cartridges to reset the ink level for the one I refilled but it didn't work. Refill and just ignore the ink level indicator. Also, it's a good idea to clean the print heads with the solvent in the refill kit before refilling to remove old ink and imrpove print quality.

Just took my old hp deskjet 932c out of the garage.

What many people do not realize is that an ink cartridge and printhead must be used on a regular basis to function properly. Recommendation is a few pages each week. If not, the liquid ink will dry and block the nozzles. First course of action is to purchase new ink cartridges. If this does not work, than purchase new printheads. However, it would be less expensive in the long run to just buy a new ink printer with the cost of ink printers being as low as they are.

Popular Mechanics did an article on this very subject a few years ago and there is a software program on the market that will automatically print a page or two every week to prevent this problem.

Black ink will not print

You have submitted this problem in the Epson R220 area - it is unlikely to produce a response here. Try again putting it in the HP 990 area.

I have a new HP Deskjet F4280 bought 3 weeks ago & the blank ink cartridge was empty & I refilled it in a store & placed it back but printer recognise that the cartridge is empty & it does not have a chip.

You cannot reset the ink level for the HP 60 ink cartridge. Simply ignore the ink level indicator if you refill your cartridges. It is only an estimate of the ink level anyway. See pg 72 of the user manual.

some printers share the ink from color to black but you can select if you wants to use only black just go to printer than properies than select to use only black but you probably have to remove the empty color one
