LOUD HUMMING NOISE COMING FROM SPEAKERS

When playing records, 45s, there is a loud humming noise from all the speakers of my juke. The playback of the record is low even when the volume is set at its highest. When the volume is turned down to its lowest level, the hum goes away. Also, the speed of the record is very slow but speeds up after several plays. However, humming is still there! Any ideas, Please.

SOURCE: ROCKOLA 480 HUMMING NOISE IN

Wow. This is a tough question to answer because it may have no answer. Listen to Alabama's Jukebox in my mind. Is that the hum you hear? It's why it's a jukebox. I have a replica that plays MP3 CD's and it's an option you can select.

If you have a sound when the needle hits the record, I'm not sure there is a fix for that.

Humming noise

Possibly a bad cable or bad ground or bad outlet?. Easy solution, try a different outlet and see if the hum still exists. Also, make sure your speaker cables are NOT run parallel along with, or close to any power cables, Speaker wires can and will pick up AC "Humm" noise.

Sounds like a problem in the speakers' internal power supply, maybe a faulty capacitor. Speakers need to be looked at by a technician, or replaced with a new set.

I have a pair of JM lab Electra 905 speakers, running through a DNM amp and power amps. When powered up, the left speaker makes a very loud humming noise. This has happened recently. I haven't changed...

Hello
Switch on your amp, keep its volue down to extreme low, and listen if there is still hum through the left channel or not. If still there is hum, the left side power amplifier section inside the amp;ifier is faulty. If htere is no hum at this state, hum enters thorugh the audio input terminal, and the input wires must be checked for open sheild connection. OK.

Speaker a and b have humming noise

If it's a loud 60 cycle hum stop running it and have it serviced. This hum can be a shorted output which can send out 50 to 60 volts out to your speakers damaging them.
