I tried all of that. I recently installed a wireless network in my home and did a bit of shuffling with USB ports recently, but I put things back in the ports where they should work. Does that affect anything?

I have seen that in most of the cases (with lexmark and dell printers) it is fixed by reinstalling the printer software. Be sure that you completely remove the older drivers using the cd or using add/remove programs.
