Best settings for a concert w/Canon Powershot Pro1?

Going to a concert and using my dad's camera. My camera does not take pictures well. I would like to know what settings best to use. The concert is indoors and will have lots of movement and lights and I would just like to have my pictures turn out with just more then a blur of lights. Thanks for any assistance. ;-)

A few settings:
Set the ISO to 400. Set the light balance to TUNGSTEN... that will make the colors accurate.
and then set the dial to P and turn your flash OFF.
then when taking photos, be sure to hold the camera VERY STILL. movements are magnified while zooming so be patient.
Also take alot of pictures ... it's better to take alot and then be able to pick the real good ones and toss out the lousy ones..
Also, be nice to those nearby by turning the MUTE to ON in the menu...this turns off the beeps and clicks... You can also turn off REVIEW... and keep the display closed. This will make taking pictures quicker because you're not waiting for the display to review each shot.

Have fun...

Go to the internet and google canon site in your area.
From the site, there is a support & download section. Down load the latest version of Zoom Browzer meant for your model of camera. here is the link:

Buttons don't work

Hi
Have you turned the mode lever to the point at the setting that looks like a little camera, some thing like [O].

Try This:
1. Turn the Mode lever to [O]
2. Press the function button. (Found to the left of the eyepiece/viewfinder)
3. Use the up and down buttons to get to the setting you want to change (found on the dial to the next to the LCD screen).
4. When you get to the setting you want to change use the right arrow to enter and make the change use the left to go back to the main menu.

Hope that helps.

I also have the same problem and I took it to the canon service center. They told me that I have to replace the whole lens kit the problem was with the shutter not closing properly thus overexposing the pictures
