No instructions!! Hello there. I was given a JVC Everio Camcorder (GZ-MS90EK) as a gift and unfortunatley there appears to be no instructions with it. I have worked out how to record on it however thats as far as I've got. I do not know how to transfer my recordings on to disc etc. I am not very technically minded so I hope you can help. I have used my Enviro MG21 with windows 7 and now Win 8 with no problems so I don't think it is comparability issue.

Try opening up "My Computer" and see if Enverio appears as a device, if not try adding it via "Control Panel - then add device abd manually install via the on screen instructions"

Share: How to import .tod files from JVC Everio HDD Camcorder to iMovie?

Requirements: iMovie (Part of the iLife 08 package)

Step 1: Connect the Everio to the Mac (Via USB)
Make sure you are powering the Everio from the mains before connecting your JVC Everio Camcorder.

Step 2: Playback on PC
Select “Playback on PC” on the Everio, once connected you will see the Everio HDD symbol appear on the desktop. The video files on the Everio are stored in the SD Folder/PRG***/MOV***.MOD.

Step 3: Open iMovie
Once you open iMovie, you will see that it recognizes the Everio straight away and will attempt to import your video.

You are now ready to use iMovie to edit your video files.

If need change .tod files to common video formats like mov, mp4, m4v, mpg, mpeg, dv, flv, avi, wmv, 3gp, mkv, mp3, aac, wma, m4a, etc. Mod Tod Video Converter for Mac is a good choice. I bought the JVC model MG135AGM but i dont have the driver. My problem i cant view my video w/o the software driver. where i can find it or download the driver
