On Manual Page 20 / pdf page 23, it says that if the ringer is muted for a single call, that it should work again the next time someone calls.

However. page 57 notes that the base ringer volume can be set between 0 and 6, so it's possible your ringer volume is not technically muted, but just turned all the way down.

Manual page 62/pdf 67 has a half-page list of other reasons that the ringer might not ring. (It can also be turned off, and there are different adjustments for both the phone and the base unit.

I couldn't agree more, but I still maintain that a large, translucent icon should appear on the screen when the Mute button is actuated, regardless of what it does or does not silence. Having to *remember* to look at a tiny orange/no orange marking on the side is unnecessary and silly.

Hi, Hold Menu (white circles button, left of R) "Phone Lst set" shows, Press OK, Use up / down to choose a location, enter phone number then press OK. Use C to clear the number if required.

this phone is nothing special and you can get a wall power supply at radio shack for about 10-20 dollars. take the phone with you so they can match the plug and voltage.

I sent an email to Doro at asking this exact question Their reply was to hold down the ringer button (bottom left one) till it beeps.

My mistake was pushing it and letting it go straight away.
