Please help me, i have a Bantam Mp3 model Ba 1000 5g. but when connect it to the computer, it seems that the pc would not able to detect the player. i tried changing the usb cable but still there is no response. Im working with windows vista Os. please give me some advice. thankyou and more power

When you say "not able to detect player", do you mean an application such as Windows Media Player or it does not should up as a Removable Disk? Does the device power up? If so, what do you see on the screen. There is a system test you can do to see if there are problems with the player itself. I'll post the steps below. With the unit powered off, press and hold the POWER OFF button and at the same time use a paper clip to depress the RESET button. The system will do some tests of display and then prompt you through testing the different buttons. It ends with a battery test. This may be a good one to document your values when you first get a unit so you can compare later if the batteries seem to be losing performance. To get out of it, press STOP. Have tried to uninstall the software and reinstall it? if you have, I give a copy of my Bantam.exe zip file so that you can try it.
