Puk2 code??? hey i have an LG viewty KU990 and it was fine. Now it will let me look through the menus, aplications, calender etc. But when i try and call or message anyone it says 'service unavailable'. it wont let me go on the internet or call my network which is T-Mobile. I tried to ring them and they said that my sim was working fine and that it must be a problem wih the phone. The Puk2 code says it's blocked and i have forgotton the code??? can anyone please help... ???????

How To Unlock Your LG Viewty KU990 1. Boot up your LG Viewty phone with the original SIM card in.
2. Bring up the LG Viewty keypad on the screen.
3. Now type, 2945#*990#.
4. Next, a menu will pop up and select SIM unlock.
5. Enter your unlock code.
6. Your LG Viewty KU900 should reboot automatically and your done!
And now you have yourself an unlocked LG Viewty mobile phone. If you do not have an unlock code, you should probably try to contact your phone carrier first. Many websites suggest paying for an unlock code, but I feel this is unnecessary. In order to unlock your device you will need to contact your service provider. They will have the code that you need to do this. They should also be able to walk through the menus with you in your specific device.

PIN2 code is associated with the cellular operator, not the phone. Contact your operator.
Having three times entering a wrong PIN2, you will need a PUK2 to unblock it (PUK2 also can be obtained from your cellular operator).
