I am trying to delete a photo from my album but I don't know how?

Deleting pictures from album are quite simple. Simply locate the file manager on your unit. Once you locate this find where the particular image is saved often depends on how the picture got to your device in the first place pictures captured by the device camera it shoud be under camera pictures or DCIM but if received via bluetooth or downloaded from the internet should be under images.
Once the file is located select options and delete.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

When I go to upload my pictures to my computer, it tells me the some pictures are already in my address book, not sure what that is, but all the pictures are new. It uploads maybe 2/3 of the new pictues...

Personally I wouldn't be using the camera software if it's deleting images without the command to do so.

What you can do is purchase a card reader with multiple memory card ports that way when you do get another camera the reader will have the port for the memory card.

Anyway the reader plugs into a USB port on your computer and looks at the reader as an external hard drive (Mass storage device) Depending on your operating system you should have an application called "My Documents" Open a new folder I generally use the date and img. then insert the memory card into the reader and the computer will either bring it up on the desk top as a hard drive or you may need to co fetch it in "My Computer" (I don't know your system) once that's done you can open the picture files copy and paste them into the new folder. Then you just need to open your camera software program and click on open and go to that file.

Once you have your pictures secured on the computer Hard Drive then format the memory card.

Formatting clears all the surface and makes the memory card ready to accept new picture data.

I suspect you have been deleting pictures and deleting pictures again and again well, you should be formatting after each time you download the pictures to the computer.

I know that will solve the problem and you can use the same system when you get a new camera

File error/polaroid camera polaroid t1031

I have the same camera and that happens to mine sometimes. That happens when something wasn't right when you took the picture. If you press the delete button while it has the "file error" on the screen, it will delete the file and then you can continue use with your camera. Sometimes when this happens it freezes the camera so you have to turn it off and back on, then try deleting it. I hope this helps you!!

Not able to 'delete' a picture from my Lumix TZ3

Sounds like a MobileMate quirk Tanya. Use your USB cable connection to your PC/Camera interface and delete pics that way too see if this funny goes away.

If it does, and I believe it will, then it is a SanDisk issue not revising the File Allocation Table(FAT) after deleting the Pic File on the mem card.

You could also find out if this is just an SDHC SD card reader issue by using an older less dense standard 1 or 2Meg non-SDHC mem card in the reader and see if issue goes away.

The fallback of course to view and delete the pics on the camera before download, or download pics then note which pic file numbers you want deleted after viewing on PC, then put SD card back in camera and delete them there.

Another option for trial, is to cut and paste the whole DCIM folder, or sub pic folder to your PC from off the SD card using the card reader. The camera automatically generates subfolders under the DCIM folder if you completely remove(deleting by a cut or move), when you take your first picture on a camera with a DCIM but not sub pic folder. Try this first and I think you will find all pics will be deleted from camera that are in a subfolder under DCIM. If not, then cut or move the whole DCIM folder and create a new DCIM(empty) folder on the SD card using the PC and card reader. Of course using this method you cannot selective delete individual pics from the mem card. You would be deleting them all after the Folder cut or move from the SD card.

Retrieving files

It may be accidentally without your notice, it could be a hardware issue, or some software problem, or someone press delete all, or format without realize that.

The good news is that you are able to get back deleted pictures with 001 picture recovery program. download the program from

Query on videos taken on camera

It's not necessary. It's the thumbnail picture file (those tiny mini pictures that let you preview what each file is when perusing a folder). If the file is missing, and you select "view thumbnails" in your folder menu, your computer will automatically recreate them if needed.
