My nintendo ds lite stopped working but it DOES take a charge. The only thing that comes on when I press the power button is the green lite indicating that it is charged, nothing else.
Battery problem
take out the battery of the ds and then clans it with a wet nap if it still does not work call nintendo they'll repair it for 13.99
Just fixed the same symptom on one today this is my scenario
been dropped and landed on the same edge of the power switch thus breaking the base of the power switch open it up and look at the metal sheath that goes around the power switch where it solders to the circuit board could have pulled off the board (need experience to tell) this needs to be soldered to the board to complete the curcuit. if not that just below the power switch you will see a (or not see) a boney color capasitor about 3mmx3mmx5mm fallen off its mounts resolder and enjoy if helps give us a tick to help others
The wires connecting the power to the screen may have stopped working properly. You should get your DS Professionaly checked at.
The ds might be broken slthough the batterry might not be so maybe thats why it still takes a charge
You probebly dont have a game in the ds silly.
Your battery is probably completely dead there just might be enough to tern the light on. ether you have been using you DS for a long time or something is draining your battery
The LCD screens may be dead. Ask a mechanic to change the screens.
Or maybe it is about the hinge. the cables may be damaged.
Did you spill anything on the DS??
