On the right corner of my desktop there is a text says "You may be a victim of software counterfeiting -This copy of windows did not pass genuine windows validation-" and every time I restart the PC my desktop wallpaper turns to a black wallpaper. then log on time Text says my system counterfuting, resolve no or resolve later. how will solve the problem

The only way you will ever get to get rid of that annoying counterfeit message is to install a genuine windows software, i.e. you need to purchase a unique windows software/CD for that pc. If you purchase the windows software, then during installation, in which you much boot from CD/DVD drive, you must select repair. That way all your documents will be preserved intact for you. The counterfeit message really simply is saying to you that, “look, this copy of the windows is actually owned by someone else and has been registered as such on Microsoft server.” Microsoft requires that each PC have a unique CD/software.

since start aug 23 2009 wenever i switch on my pc the welcum screen appears and den on it a dialog box appears as ur copy of windows didnt pass genuine windows validation and u may b a victim os software counterfeiting and der r 2 options "resolve now" or "resolve later". so as i click on resolve now my screen bcums black(wallpaper) and at the right hand corner the dialog blog consists of ur windows did not pass genuine windows and that stuff but i dont wanna install new software just want to get rid of tht **** pls pls pls pls help its freaking me man???? waiting for reply pl pls help????

THERE ARE NUMBER OF METHODS BUT FOR YOU THESE 2 METHODS ARE GOOD

1) METHOD:-
TRY SYSTEM RESTORE.

2) METHOD:-
2.1) LAUNCH WINDOWS TASK MANAGER.
2.2) End wgatray.exe Process In Task Manager.
2.3) Restart System In Safe Mode.
2.4) Delete wgatray.exe from c:\Windows\System32.
2.5) Delete wgatray.exe from c:\Windows\System32\dllcache.
2.6) Launch RegEdit.
2.7) Browse the following key HKEY_LOCALMACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWSNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify.
2.8) Delete The Folder "WgaLogon" and all of its component.
2.9 ) Reboot System.

3.0) BE HAPPY NOW.... AND NEVER EVER INSTALL WINDOWS GENUINE ADVANTAGE NOTIFICATION IN WINDOWS UPDATE OTHERWISE YOU HAVE TO REPEAT THE DAMN PROCESS AGAIN.

IN ORDER TO THAT FOLLOW THIS

START--> CONTROL PANEL--> AUTOMATIC UPDATES --> CHOOSE THE OPTION """"""""""""Notify me but don't automatically download or install them"""""""""""

When u use this option whenever your system detects any new WINDOWS UPDATE choose the updates which u want to install... DON'T INSTALL WINDOWS XP SERVICE PACK --3.

Your copy of windows is not genuine or your system has been hacked and your product key stolen.
The only thing you can do now is purchase a copy of windows with a genuine product key.
Microsoft gives only 28 days for you to rectify it and buy a product key from them otherwise they will lock you out of the operating system so back up all your data before this happens.
