You can convert songs from a CD to MP3 just by "ripping" with Windows Media Player (not sure if Itunes will) or similar programs, like Audacity.

You then copy the music you got from the CD and copy that to the MP3 player after plugging it into a USB port. When the MP3 player is plugged in, you should be able to access it and copy to it.

How do I download music off my computor onto my mp3 player

Methods vary between different models.
However the usual simple way is to turn MP3 player OFF
Connect MP3 to computer with USB cable. The computer should recognise it as a 'mass storage device'
Locate the music files on your computer (usually in My Documents / My Music
Click START, click MY COMPUTER and look for 'Devices with removable storage' your MP3 player will be listed as something with a letter in brackets e.g. JVC(E:) click on this to open it in a new window.
Click on the tunes you want to copy across and drag them onto the open window for your MP3 player.
That's it!

I have a Telefunken TMP-444B, 4GB MP3/4 player. The setup soft ware disc does not load to any of my computors. Where can I download it. Cannot load music onto the player

Hopefully you got a solution already, but here goes mine: I also had a Telefunken TMP-444B, 4GB MP3/4 and i found you don't need a cd (my cd also didn't work). Try connecting it to your pc via usb-cable and access it on your PC. Simply copy your Mp3 or mp4 files onto it and see it should work. Mine did. Hope yours will.
(Just take care when deleting files, because i don't know if important files are protected on your mp3/4 player). Take care anyway ;-)
Cheers

Can a sansa mp3 player give a computor a virius?my room mate took all my music files off our computor, because he said when I put them on the computor from my mp3 player, that it passed a virius to the...

From Answers WiKi:- The mp3 format does not allow you to execute code. The way a virus works is it executes code which either deletes, edits, adds, or takes files from your computer. This is next to impossible without the use of at least one exe, vbs, bat, or com file.

So if you only transferred mp3 files the virus did not come from you.

Putting music onto phone

i can guide you through the prossess of connecting it through a usb cable, and can suggest other options that will enable you to get music onto your phone if this fails.

You cannot put music strait onto youe phone from the cd first it needs to be ripped onto your computer, and converted into an mp3 file so that the phone can play this. if you cannot do this, then reply to this solution, or post it as another question.

USB Cable Link
  1. turn on your phone and pc and plug the cable into both
  2. look on the phone screen to see if it is asking anything. if it asks what mode you wish to use, choose FILE TRANSFER.
  3. depending on your computor different things may happen, but it should install automatically.
  4. once this is done, your phone will act and appear on your computor the same a memory stick would.
  5. to add music (or any other type of file) just got to my computor, double click on your phone, go to the music file, and simply paste the music you have ripped from your cd there

if you have any questions or trouble will this contact me on my account

please take the time to rate this solution thanks :)
