Phone forwards to voice mail in 2 rings !!!

if you diverted to voice mail send #21# to deactive all diverts if your answering machine is on turn it off setting > application setings > call > all calls > answering machine > activation > off

First go to settings.......then go to call forward or call divert...........then cancel all divert or all call forwarding to voice mail...........enjoy... :)

check your call barring option, you may have mistakenly barred your incoming calls.

Try going into your settings/call settings/call divert.
Go into Call Divert and cancel all diverts.
This should solve your problem.

pl go to the forward option in your key phone.under that u will ve an option call forward.there will be 2 options , voice mail box & another no.
If ur panasonic epabx system has a voice mail system integrated to it then only u will be able to save & acces ur voice mails.
in this case it appears the other option is activated, i.e the other members no is stored.
u may have to take the help of ur epabx vendor if u are not able to solve it in this way!!!!!!!

The call forwarding was turned off. To turn on, press speaker, enter 793, press 1(for set), press extention number, and enter 300. If you have call forwarding on and are looking for more rings, do the above steps except press 2 (for clear).

You have to change the rings from the voice mail server. If you don't know your way around the server, its best to get a local NEC tech although it is fairly simple to navigate. Depends on your skill. Typical default password for the server is NEC

Oh, the old forward to two destinatons trick :-)

If you're happy with the destination for C.O. Calls, you can set only the intercom call forward. There are *71xx codes that you dial. The 3rd digit is 0 for all calls, 1 for CO calls and 2 for itnercom calls.
The 4th digit can be 0/2/3/4/5 where zero is cancel, 2 is all, 3 is busy, 4 is no answer and 5 is busy/NA. The next digits are the destination which may also include an access code (9) and then #.

So, example to forward all intercom calls to voice mail (if 500) dial *7122 500 #. If the location for both calls is the same you can also reset everything by dialing *7100# then *7102 500 #.

Check the settings in call divert.

The phone you have can be used on different Avaya phone systems that program differently. It is certainly something that can be changed but you would need to know which system you have first. There is a call-forward no answer timer that send the call to another station or voice mail box etc.. after so many seconds. That is what needs to be changed.

All the manuals are available at www.avaya.com but again, you would need to know which system you have before looking for the manual.
