That will be a main control board. Also if you have a touch pad replace that also. If its more than three years do not repair but replace.

My unit has the same problem and it is due to a failure of the control board. The tech that came to look at it tells me that this unit vents from the top of the tub rather than from the front, and he claims that the installation instructions require a 1" gap between the top of the tub and the countertop.
Now I have found no such information in the installation manual that I downloaded, and I am skeptical that a 1" gap could be done, and if it could it wouldn't look to good.
I am going to pull my unit out and see exactly where the vent fan is and what the clearance is. The service tech says they can't replace the control panel until the installation is proper. I am thinking this is at least to some extent a design flaw with this machine. There seem to be a lot of reports of this failure.

Next time DON'T buy a Frigidaire product. It is absolute GARBAGE!!! How does a durable good (an item that is supposed to last for at least 5 years) break down w/in the first 1 or 2 years??? Only poor quality items do that.

Good Afternoon Delia Collins, thank you for your post!
Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire dishwasher is flashing an "ER" error code on the panel. Typically, the "ER" stands for an error code sometimes to help clear out a false error code you can perform a reset on your dishwasher. In order to do that you would need to disconnect power from your dishwasher for approximately ten minutes.
If you continue to experience an issue with the error code I would recommend contacting a technician for proper repairs. The technician will be able to properly diagnosis your dishwasher and this will help you to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt
