Looking on the back of ur tv near the cable input jack there might be an area where u can adjust the brightness on the flyback transformer. if there isn't you will have to remove the back of the tv and adjust it this way. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE BRIGHTNESS KNOB ON THE FLYBACK, CAUSE YOU MAY BE SHOCKED. so please be careful.

Our Sony Tv RMyD003 screen is darker than we would like and we need to brighten the picture. We are unable to locate our Manuel and would need your help. Thank you

Try going to your menu or input select and you should see a scale to darken or lighten input. The remote should have a button on it to let you get to main menu.

Our copier is copying in light shade. how to make it darker

To adjust the default lighter/darker setting

1. On the LaserJet 3015, press MENU/ENTER.

2. Use the < or the > button to select Copy setup, and then press MENU/ENTER.

3. Use the < or the > button to select Def. Light/Dark, and then press MENU/ENTER.

4. Use the < or the > button to adjust the setting. Move the slider to the left to make all of the

copies lighter than the original, or move the slider to the right to make all of the copies

darker than the original.
5. Press MENU/ENTER to save the selection.

Page 48 of the User Guide has instructions for adjusting the light/dark setting during a copy job.

Also see the Troubleshooting section of the User Guide for other possible reasons for light/faded copies.

If your copies continue to come out too light, you may need to clean the insert a new toner cartridge or change brands of toner. I tried several "generic" toner cartridges and refills, but my prints and copies were always faded or streaky. After going back to genuine HP cartridges, I haven't had any print quality problems.

Our tv has been getting darker and darker - we've tried to adjust brightness in menu and have it set to far right but its still too dark. Is there another adjustment to brighten the picture other than...

In many many cases this is an indication of a failing picture tube. The gun assembly in the neck of the picture tube is shorting. There is a fix, but this is surely last resort and the final cure may not provide a fix. Picture tube rejuvenation is not always successful. I would certainly opt for a new TV. Thanks for asking, and show a few hands of support!

Picture too dark

mkbowen,

whats the brand name of your TV?

also try this, facing the front of your screen. locate a button indicating " menu" and click it.
once the menu button been activated there would be a display box indicating "AUDIO" "VIDEO" "TUNNING" or in some cases the screen will indicate one by one setting every time you press the "menu" button. If you'll able to find a display indicating "video" higlight the said icon and navigate throught it until you see the control for brightness. you can navigate the icon by pressing +/- channel button and to change the value of selected item you need to press +/- volume button of the screen.

cheers ,
