The top heating element is not working on my toaster oven... can it be easily and cheaply replaced or should I trash it?

I trashed the toaster oven. Apparently even if you know how to fix something you can't get the parts. If you need to take apart an appliance to fix it, you can rest assured you cannot get a replacement part. This is our throw away society.

I honestly believe that the burned element in my toaster oven is replaceable
like a burned out oven element or dryed element. I thought someone would
show me how to replace the element. That didn't happen. I am dubious
about the need for experts via a commitment to a specialists' plan.

you can touch the element but be carefull the glass is thin .... so scrape it and do what you can . THEN USE A COTTON BALL AND ALCOHOL and clean the element that will get rid of the oil you left behind ,you will be fine ......Please if this answer helped , please rate this 3 or 4 stars . and keep me in the paid answer department .
