Hello sajikumar

Following links have wiring illustrations:
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-program-Hagar-timer.html#wire
http://waterheatertimer.org/images/EH-010-timer-wiring2.jpg
http://waterheatertimer.org/images/EH-010-timer-wiring.jpg
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-install-3-phase-timer.html

The EH 010 timer has max amp rating 16 amp max.
This timer is connected to 12-14 gauge wire
Ordinary 3-phase 7.5 Hp motor draws 22 amps at 230volt and probably connected to 30-40 amp breaker and size 10-6 wire.

Timer and wire to timer must be fuse-protected, and cannot be directly connected to 30-40 amp line.

How do you set a hager eh010 timer

switch the timer off or disconnect
turn the thermostat setting to low
that way it will not work when the solar section is producing enough hot water and when the temperature in the hot water system falls below the thermostat setting it will switch on the power
usable hot water temperature is around 60 degrees c and anything over that will scald the skin within minutes
low thermostat setting is 55 -65 degrees c

I am fitting a hager ez003 timer to our board does it need an earth as when we took off the old timer there was an earth fitted we are fitting it through an hager es 420

Wiring diagram for EZ420 delay timer does not show ground or earth connection.
It shows 12-230 volt AC Hot and Neutral, or 12-48 volt DC +-.
I assume the body of the timer is plastic/ cannot be taken apart/ has recessed screws and terminals/ and is double-insulated? Making ground or earth unnecessary.

Hager ES220 cant get the timer to work how do i set it i do not have any guidelines where can i get the information from ?

I am not familiar with that specific model number, but Hagar timers have more than one number since sellers apply their own numbers so their product appears unique.
I suggest contact Hagar:
http://controls.hager.com/index.php?scr=800&id=1462

Open following link for Hagar timer resources:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Hagar-timers-and-manuals.html

Hager ES220 does not show in the timer catalog:

I have a hager eh 110 time switch on my pool and I cant set it. Any clues?

Hagar EH 10 is 230V analog time switch.
EH010 is 1" wide.

1) See large image of EH010
http://www.bewdirect.co.uk/home/m/Shop/id/3985/page/1/

2) See large image that explains how to set EH-010
http://waterheatertimer.org/images/EH-010-image-1000.jpg

3) With analog timers, there is a movable dial that rotates with fingers.
Pins or segments are located around edge of dial.
Segments are moved one direction or the other to set on-off times.
After segments are set, the dial is rotated to match current time.
The dial rotates as time passes, and segments move a switch that opens and closes electric circuit.

4) EH-010 is different.
Usually analog dial is located on face of timer like a clock face.
However EH-010 is only 1" wide, so dial is perpendicular to front of timer and is rotated with thumb.

5) I suggest setting a few segments one direction or the other and then manually rotate dial full circle to watch when pool equipment turns on-off.
This will tell you if segments should be set right or left.
I have not seen this particular timer, but it appears as if times on printed on edge of timer dial.

6) Timer has 240V clock motor.
So Hot line wires from circuit breaker connect to terminals 1 and 2.
This powers clock motor so dial rotates as time passes.

240V Line and 240V Load wires are connected as shown in image below:

I have a hager eh 135 timer & don't understand how to set it.My email adress is. brenton.1955@hotmail .com

Here's the EH135 manual
http://waterheatertimer.org/Hagar135-manual.PDF

EH135 is 240V SPST timer with NO normally open pole and NC normally closed pole. Clock motor is 240V. Manual override located lower right of dial.

Tabs on dial push down and out. The manual seems to illustrate the following: tabs are down and out, timer is off and NC poles 5-6 are connected. When tabs are up, timer turns on and NO poles 5-4 are connected.
