The programming does not work on my model TM 74 so I will be returning it to Lowe's.

I have been using the Utilitech daylight saving in wall timer for several years and love it. But, I recently made a change to the timer and now the lights are on - won't shut off .

Question moved from Televisions category.

Try disconnecting the mains power for an hour. If it has a back up battery remove that too. Reconnect and try again.

I need the English instructions for the Utilitech timer #0144506

I found a Utilitech timer at Lowes with the item number #0144506. The Utilitech model number for this timer is UTTNID001. If this is the correct timer, the manual is on the product page: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Utilitech-15-Amp-1-Outlet-Digital-Residential-Plug-in-Lighting-Timer/4740850 . Scroll down and expand the Guides & Documents section. The direct link is currently: http://pdf.lowes.com/useandcareguides/054732817825_use.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Operating Utilitech #tm-029mitem #0192773 what is the button on right (next to on/off button)

The first press of the button to the right of the On/Off button on the Utilitech TM-029 will display the current Sunrise time. You can then adjust this time with the +/- buttons. A second press will display the Sunset time and allow you to adjust that.

This is useful if you want a light to come on at sunset (or a time near sunset) and go off at sunrise every day.

I found the manual for the TM-029 here: http://waterheatertimer.org/Program-wire-Utilitec-LW60419.html . Look in the right hand column under Resource. The direct link to the manual is http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Utilitec-TM-029-timer.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Add a comment and say if the maual matches your product, and where you are having problems with the programming...

Sometimes these import timers have several different manuals because they are made to specific order by the manufacturer for the seller.
The seller might buy 10,000 units, and then the next order, the timer has been changed to fix a glitch or add feature or to reduce quality.
