Laser mouse 8000 won't connect to blue tooth

Microsoft bluetooth laser mouse 8000 , worked for about 6 months, now will not connect to the dongle on my PC or to my bluetooth enabled laptop. I have changed and charged the battery. I have pushed the reset button a million times. I have tried the reset 15/5/5 press sequence and nothing happens. The blue tooth devices shows it, but will not connect. And the system says it is working properly...??? Ya cept it doesn't do anything. Any ideas?

Thank you for your answer, but I did try that, I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, still no luck.

I lost Bluetooth Wireless the BT9500BLK mouse model.may I use another Bluetooth Wireless and how do it?

Wireless mouses and keyboards don't use blue tooth to connect. Whwn you get a new wireless mouse, there will be a new dongle to replace the one form the old mouse.

I am using hp rg-0983 device but i want to connect my bluetooth beats headset to it how can i connect please suggest?

You need a blue tooth dongle made for the beats headset. Keyboard and mouse dongles are not universal. They work only with the keyboard and mouse that it was designed to operate with.

Compatible Mouse to replace one I have -- new

The wireless dongle plugged into the computer is on a specific frequency and you wont be able to peer it with a different mouse. However if it is a Bluetooth and not wireless, you can pair another Bluetooth mouse no problem.

How to connect blue tooth mouse to dell inspirom 1520

Hold on... are you sure that you have a bluetooth mouse or do you have a wireless mouse with "pen drive" like dongle? If it is with a dongle, it probably is a common wireless mouse which operates on its own wireless frequecy. You may have a driver CD that comes with the mouse or it simply works "plug and play". However, there are bluetooth mouse too, in this case you just need to turn on your bluetooth on the PC and pair the mouse with your PC just like any other bluetooth device. In either case, a LAN card in not involved. Hope this helps.
