Can't program clerk descriptors on sam4s 5200M

I have followed the instructions in the book and also changed system option 25 as described and still can not program specific clerk descriptors on this register. I consistently get a warning for a sequencing error as I press subtotal after entering the special 3-digit codes for each character. If anyone has any idea why it would be giving me an error please let me know. Thanks.

Training mode closed how do i re open

The training mode on the 5200 is activated using a clerk number that has been programmed to be a training clerk. To log the clerk off turn key to REG and press 0 then clerk. Then log on a clerk which isnt programmed for training - try 1 then clerk. If that doesnt work, try 2 then clerk. Clerk key is usually top right key on keyboard.
