I guess they somehow damaged your mic while adding memory. You can check the primary voice input device in your Control Panel/Sounds

My microphone isent working on my laptop i plug a mic in and nuthen can be picked up

Using a microphone with computer

To use any microphone with your computer you will need to enable it in control panel. The following instructions are for Windows XP but are broadly similar for Vista and Win7

Click START, CONTROL PANEL, SOUNDS & AUDIO DEVICES

Click VOICE

In Sounds & Audio Devices Properties window locate SOUND PLAYBACK box. Click the VOLUME button. Make sure that there is not a check-mark in the MUTE box against microphone in the list of devices and that the volume slider is at the top of the scale.

Make sure the MUTE ALL box isn't checked before closing the window.

Now click the VOLUME button in the SOUND RECORDING BOX. Here SELECT microphone as an input source for recording (as opposed to un-checking mute in the playback controls).

NOTE if your microphone is not listed in the 2 sets of volume controls click OPTIONS, PROPERTIES on the tool-bar and place a check against microphone in the list entitled 'show the following volume controls' and then click OK. Same applies for Internal mic.

That should be it.

To adjust audio volume generally.

Under VOLUME tab adjust Device Volume as necessary. Also (under Loudpeaker Settings) click Speaker Volume and adjust slider to suit.

You might put a check mark in the box to show the volume control on the Task Bar so you can go straight to it to make adjustments in the future.

I downloaded skype on my HP Pavilion to talk to my daughter at college. We can see each other & I can hear her, but she can't hear me. I don't know how to get my internal microphones to work. Please...

You can try this, it might be the problem. The microphone is by default, muted. The Skype program "should" un-mute it, but sometimes the notebooks mic is not fully compliant. So, to manually un-mute the microphone, go into the volume control panel by double clicking the speaker icon in the system tray. If the microphone section is not displayed toward the right, you'll have to activate it in the Options|Properties menu item. Put a check mark in the box beside microphone. Remove the check mark in the mute box under microphone.

What is debitor and creditor. what is accounting principales, how many types of accounting. give me example for tally problems.

Debtor owes you money. For example, your business sold a product to Mr Smith. Let us say he has 30 days to pay the money. So Mr Smith is called a Debtor to your business.
Creditor is someone whom your business owe money. Examples would be a bank from which you borrowed money, still not yet paid off
OR another business from which you purchased something, not paid the invoice it.
You need a Basic Book keeping book (Grab one from a High School student) to learn these. Also have a look at this website to learn some accounting terminology.

You will find many others on the web.
Hope this is helpful to you. Best of luck.
