Try to have a hard reset by holding Power key and Volume minus key and then try using the Wi-Fi option.

Hello... I guess the mic on the phone is blown. Contact ZTE if its within a year that u purchased the phone they can have it fixed for u. But the irony is u gotta send the phone to them and they will replace the MIC and send it back.

SOURCE: cant send picture message with my zte warp

could be that the file data is too high or that the receiving phone doesn't get phone messages, try sending a text photo to a old phone you have you to your email. If that works then its probably just the receiving parties issue.

SOURCE: my zte warp sequent text just keeps sending but never actually sends the text

for sending text messages :
1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct
2. call to your network operator customer care
3. request the message center number...
4.note it down
5. go to message settings>message center number
6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it

this solves your messaging problem ...
Good luck

What is an Android Custom Recovery, and Why Would I Want One?

A custom recovery is a third-party recovery environment. Flashing this recovery environment onto your device replaces the default, stock recovery environment with a third-party, customized recovery environment. This is a bit like flashing a custom ROM like CyanogenMod - but, instead of replacing your device's Android operating system, it replaces the recovery environment.

A custom recovery environment will do the same things as the stock Android recovery. However, it will also have additional features. Custom recoveries often have the ability to create and restore device backups. Custom recoveries allow you to install custom ROMs. ClockworkMod even offers a "ROM Manager" app that allows you to access many of these features from a running Android system - this app requires a custom recovery installed to function.

*Popular Custom Recoveries*
ClockworkMod Recovery (CWM) can create and restore NANDroid backups - backups of an Android device's entire file system. ClockworkMod offers a ROM manager with a file browser that allows you to easily browse for and install custom ROMs via ClockworkMod Recovery and manage and restore backups. It also has other advanced features that will be useful if you're installing and dealing with custom ROMs.

Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) is a touch-based recovery environment. Unlike other recovery environments - including Android's default stock recovery, which needs to be controlled with the device's volume and power buttons - this recovery environment has a touch-based interface you can use by tapping your fingers on on-screen buttons. TWRP even supports themes. Like CWM, TWRP offers ROM installation and backup features the stock recovery environment doesn't.

CWM and TWRP are the two most popular custom recoveries, but other custom recoveries may be available for some devices.

How to Flash you Android phone with a Custom ROM

In order to flash your Android phone (for example Sony Ericsson Xperia, HTC desire, Samsung Galaxy etc.) with a custom ROM you need to follow these steps. <b><u>PLEASE read the notes at the bottom first before going through these steps.</u></b><br /> <br /> <ol> <li>First of all you need to "<b>root</b>" your phone.<br />Rooting your phone enables special applications to get higher level access to the phone. Rooting the phone is a simple procedure. Simply download<span><b>Paul's Visionary+ tool </b>(<a href="http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=447543&d=1290501865">click here</a>) and send this APK file to your phone using bluetooth or USB cable. Run this file on the mobile and install it. When the installation is complete run it and select "temproot now" option from the list. When the process is complete select "attempt permroot now" option. Restart your phone and you are done.<br /><img src="wiqi546.png" /><br /></span></li> <li>Install <b>ROM Manager</b>.<br />Open Android Manager and install ROM Manager.<br /><img src="wiqi546_1.jpg" /><br /><span></span></li> <li><span>Install </span><span><b>ClockWorkMod Recovery</b>.<br />Simply run the ROM Manager and it will ask you to install </span><span>ClockWorkMod Recovery. Click yes and it will be install. During the installation you may get a prompt for super user permission. Make sure you tap allow. (<i>If ROM Manager does not ask you to install </i></span><i><span>ClockWorkMod Recovery you can simply tap on "Flash </span><span>ClockWorkMod Recovery" option.)</span></i></li> <li><span>Download and copy <b>Custom ROM</b> to micro-SD card.<br />Now you need to find and download a Custom ROM which you want to install on your Android device. To do this simplest way is to Google it. For example if i want to look for a Custom ROM for HTC Desire HD i will Google "HTC Desire HD Custom ROM".<br />A few recommended websites to find Custom ROMs are:<br /><b><a href="http://forum.xda-developers.com/index.php">XDA-Developers</a><br /></b></span><b><a href="http://www.cyanogenmod.com/">CyanogenMod</a><br /><a href="http://www.miuiandroid.com/">MIUI</a></b><br /><span>When you are done downloading the ROM you will have a zip file. Simply copy this file anywhere in the micro-SD card of your phone by connecting a USB cable and putting phone in USB storage mode.</span></li> <li><span>Reboot in </span><span><b>ClockWorkMod Recovery</b>.<br />Simply in the ROM Manager tap on "Reboot into Recovery" option. If you again get the super user prompt make sure you allow it.<br /><img src="wiqi546_0.jpg" /><br /></span></li> <li><span><b>Wipe the Phone</b> clean.<br />Select the option "wipe data/factory reset".<br /></span></li> <li><span><b>Install Custom ROM</b>.<br />Select the option "install zip from sdcard". Browse to the location where you placed the zip file you downloaded earlier and select yes. Now sit back and relax.<br /></span></li> <li><span>You are <b>done</b>. Enjoy your new Android Phone!<br /><br /></span></li></ol><span><b><u>NOTES:</u></b></span> <ul> <li><span>Make sure you backup all data on your phone to a safe location before you proceed.</span></li> <li><span><i><u>Flashing your phone with a ROM is a risky business. ONLY proceed on your own will.</u></i></span></li> <li><span><i><u>I am not responsible in ANY case.</u></i></span></li> <li><span>If you you consider your a novice user of computer please do not attempt this procedure. Please ask someone else to do it on our behalf who is some what more experienced than you.</span></li> <li><span>In some cases flashing your phone may VOID your phone warranty.</span></li> <li><span>DO NOT skip any step.</span></li> <li><span>You may want to do a backup of your current ROM by selecting "nandroid" option in recovery mode.</span></li></ul><span><br /></span> <span><b><i>If this tip was helpful to you, please let us know by rating it (click on the thumbs up).</i></b></span> <span><b><i>If you are having any problem, do not hesitate to comment here.</i></b></span> <span><b><br /></b></span> <span><b>Regards,</b></span> <span><b>Waqar.</b></span> <span><br /></span>

How to reboot zte warp sequent without loosing saved messages?

With the phone on, you may want to pull the battery out and leave it out for 15-30 seconds, then put it back in. If that doesn't work, then you should hold the power button and select reboot. that shouldn't delete any messages.
