I renewed my subscription (order no.1863817887) on Dec 26 but am still getting messages that my sub has run out and computer is unprotected.

If you purchased the NIS 05 and you did not pay a new subscription in 2006, then it is expired.
You would have to purchase a new subscription for 2009 for 2010. Not a renewal. I would find that out, since NIS05 is not working.

FREE SPYWARE
Download Spybot Search & Destroy. Restart computer, then run Spybot to see what spyware comes up, AND DELET IT.

FYI---Virus Protection-- 2 programs of virus protection will conflict with each other and will actually cancel out the protection. SO just download one.

Running Spybot Search & Destroy with EITHER Avast or Avg (great Free virus protection programs ) will keep a computer in good working condition. FREE

There are alot of $ anti-virus and Internet security programs out there,

ie: Norton, McAfee, Panda, Bitdefender. If you would like to pay $ then get ***Kaspersky***-- 2010 , I feel that is the best for your money.

Then go to control panel, add and remove programs, and un install the entire Mcafee program.

Your computer will run faster and safer.

I bought the McAfee protection yesterday and used my paypal and i have 2 emails from paypal and McAfee. but it keeps saying that i am not covered. i don't know what to do. i need to talk to a live person but i am not going to pay $10.00 more for it. It has already cost me $74.00
