I don't understand what you mean by "plug electricity from the speaker to my CD desk"?

Could you clarify this.

The E-8709 error states you have an issue with the cd transport or CD eject mechanism. You would need to take it to a service center to get it checked out.

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!! I had the same problem and what I did to figure out the problem was to take parts out of my good cd player and test it on the one with the error E-8709 ... After much testing I came to find out the problem was due to the MAIN PCB Assy which costs $181.51 + shipping. I was able to find this part at http://www.instrumentalparts.com/8mk211.html

To replace this part is very easy, just remove all the screws from the bottom of your CDJ 800 MK2 since it's right under the metal sheet in the bottom of your player.

Good Luck!!!

    THAT'S RIGHT!

i had the same error E-8709 code with one of my CDJ-800MK2.
i brought it to an electronic engineer. he took parts out of the good CDJ and tried it on the CDJ with the error E-8709.
He said the problem was the from the part MAIN PCB Assy after 5 minutes, he tried to fix it but he couldn't. (checkhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planned_obs...

to buy a new MAIN PCB Assy (pionner part code DWG1622) you can go there:
    http://parts.pioneerelectronics.com/part...
    orhttp://www.instrumentalparts.com/8mk211....
    orhttp://www.pro-technical.co.uk/product_i...
    orhttp://www.ued.net/ued/addItems.do?itemC...

the same part for the CDJ 800 mk1 has the pionner part code DWG1563

    bon courage!

I have a djm 400 and it has started producing a buzzing sound through the speakers. I can take the same speaker cables from the djm 400 and hook them up to my backup mixer and the buzzing goes away. What...

Since it works with your other mixer, the DJM400 is probably fine. You have a ground loop.

Make sure ALL, and I do mean ALL... (re-read that if there is any confusion) interconnected equipment WILL BE powered from the same receptacle or source. If speakers or amps are powered from one place and the DJM is from the other end of the room you likely have a ground loop and you can ex[ect buzzing. Run extension cords alongside the audio leads if necessaryy to carry power from where the amps or speakers are plugged in back to the DJM400 and ANY pther connected equipment.

DJM 400 Keep going into over on the channel and the master volume

To keep your levels down keep the TRIM don which is the gray knob. Also keep the hi, mid, and low knobs at the medium level. The control cables are for using the fader start function.

One Output low on DJM 400

This may not be the correct solution, but have you checked the switches on the back of the DJM-400 to see if one output is set to "PHONO" mode?

Pioneer DJM-400 mixer turns on, but channels aren't working

could be a few things , what have you tried to trouble shoot the problem ?
My steps would be ;
check all leads (even if you KNOW u pluged them in)
check the gain is set corectly .
check the line phono slectors are set to what ever you have you leads pluged into on the back of the mixer ( there is 4 red and white RCA plugs , 2 for phono,2 for line CDJs shold be using line )
if you are using digital cables to conect your CDJs , on the back on the mixer there is a small switch marked "CD or digital" make sure that is sleceted "digital " . if ur not using digital cables make sure it is on "CD" .
the info iv put here is based on the DJM-800 so your mixer my not have some of these featers as iv never used a 400 . hope this helps dued . check out www.djtutor.com for more tricks and tips . Pratices'N'enjoy !

No sound from CDJ-800 MK2

Are you getting error messages? Running in thru LINE? Is not on mute? The possiblity of both not playing would lead to process of elimination.

Keep me posted.
