Same problem here.I just spoke with a technician in Toronto, CA. He advised that there is a Thermal Fuse 240 Deg. Celsius that is probably the culprit. My go to electronics guy has one ordered and we are going to repair it. Too expensive for me to buy a new one if I an get this one repaired, as one person recommended to junk it and buy another one.Same problem here.I just spoke with a technician in Toronto, CA. I know it's been a long time, did you ever get it repaired? And what was the result?
Great Iron, but it suddenly stopped heating today and all the indicators still light up. I suspect heating element, fuse, or possibly an internal wire break.I know it's been a long time, did you ever get it repaired? And what was the result?

Check the power supply: Make sure that the iron is properly plugged in and that the outlet is working. If the outlet is not working, try plugging the iron into a different outlet.
Check the temperature setting: Make sure that the temperature setting on the iron is set correctly for the type of fabric you are ironing. If the temperature is set too low, the iron may not heat up properly.
Check for mineral buildup: If the iron has not been descaled recently, mineral buildup in the steam chamber could be causing the heating element to malfunction. Try descaling the iron following the manufacturer's instructions.
Check the heating element: If the heating element is damaged or has burned out, the iron will not heat up. In this case, the iron may need to be repaired or replaced.
I DON;T KNOW. BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT USE IT UNTIL THE IRON IS WORKING SAFELY.
GOOGLE <velocity iron> AND CHOOSE YOUR MODEL. SHUT OFF THE SWITCH OR BUTTON FOR STEAM. SEARCH YOUR OWNERS'S MANUAL ETC. YOUR'S MAY STILL HAVE WARRANTY.

Others have reported that a battery going south (even one that still holds a charge) can cause some heat sensor to go into the red zone and shut the machine down. You can test this by pulling your battery and running your v100 exclusively on A/C--does this resolve the problem?
I discovered on my v100 that running the latest version of AVG (8.5) causes my hard drive to warm up enough to set off a heat sensor, shutting the machine down. I have to run the virus scan at the "slow" setting to avoid this problem.
