I can't see the picture directly when i open my picture folder..

windows 7 is more stable than vista added 4gb will be adequate to run win 7 64bit

The free upgrade is sent out by the laptops manf. directly to you as long as you bought the laptop in the past 4 months. It is regardless of the current version of Windows Vista that you are running. According to an article found here

"Acer says "shipments will begin in increments. All orders will be handled on a first-in, first-out basis." So if you bought a computer last week, you could be at the end of a long line."

Best you can do at the moment is just wait, your not going to be able to do much till Acer ships out that upgrade. Even if you did install Windows Vista Premium, you would be stuck till you got the Windows 7 from the manf.

it is a problem in you windows, get windows reinstalled make sure you have all the drivers, or get a registry fixing program like tune up utilitys 2009 works fine

Unless you can find and verify you have an orignal CD there is nothing you an do but buy another license for th use of Vista. If you made a back up set up. Have yo ulooked at the bottom of the laptop. Most of the time it has the Vista sticker with the key for your windows use. reinstall and use that key.

Please try removing pictures from Pictures folder.

Move all pictures in "My Pictures" folder to any other floder and reboot. The Orbicam should work

did you back up your drivers before installing? If so put backup cd in and reinstall drivers pointing it to the cd for driver files

Any hardware which Vista can identify and install drivers for will operate correctly after upgrading your computer to Vista (given that the hardware is in working order). If you can't use them, Vista either has an incorrect or no driver for them. I have a printer that Vista erroneously identifies, and installs the wrong driver for. I had to contact HP for the correct driver. I suggest going directly to the websites of the manufacturers of your hardware for the drivers. If you need further help, please let us know.
