How do i find safemode on my emachine w3507

On most PC's, shut down your machine, wait a minute or so, power it back up and start tapping the F8 button until you see the prompt for safe mode.

I want to know which type of external as in add on that i insert into the motherboard of my computer will function; psi or psi express for the T3408 intel celeron processor 340 by emachines.

unfortunately there is no such addon for yours or any other motherboard. But I do have an option for you. if you don't want to have to purchase a copy of windows a very nice upgrade is the motherboard from the emachine (w3507). click link to see review. the only down side is you are going to have to purchase DDR2 memory since the model you have is regular DDR. believe me it is an upgrade worth it. and you will be able to use your emachine windows disk and key.

I need recovery disk for a emachine w3507

You can purchase recovery software specific for your machine (you will need your computer's serial number) here:

https://secure.tx.acer.com/RCDB/Main.aspx?brand=emachines

I believe it is around $20, plus shipping costs.

Hope this helps.

What motherboad is installed in an Emachine W3507 Desktop PC

The motherboard is a Socket 775 board originally manufactured by Elite Group (better known as ECS). When placed into this E-Machine, very few changes were actually made to the retail version of the 945G-M3 motherboard. This motherboard was built with upgrading in mind. It supports almost every Celeron D, Pentium 4 and Pentium D processor on the market.

Upgrade problems

Your system comes stock with one stick of DDR2 (512 MB), which means that it is _ not_ dual channel DDR2 memory as dual channel DDR2 must be installed in matched pairs. Try to exchange the new memory for 2G of some single channel DDR2.
