My battery also won't hold a charge. This unit is a little over 2 years old. Any way to get a new battery?

I have posted a link to a site where you can purchase a new battery below.

I have the same problem mine is 2 and a half years old, but I think it's the charger as opposed to the battery, as it won't even power for any length of time with the AC adapter connected. Will find out tomorrow when I can grab another to confirm.

The battery is probably dead, as it's rated for 400 cycles. When you have the dock's feet out, you can see 2 tiny screws on the back of the unit, unscrew them, remove the hatch and you'll have your battery exposed. 3.7V 1800mAh Li-Ion

I agree that it sounds like the battery is likely dead. Here is a site that provides quality replacement batteries for the iM600 speaker dock:

My Altec Lansing Inmotion used to charge my Ipod Touch, but since yesterdag (after not using it for 3 weeks) it won't charge my Ipod anymore. The Altec charges itself, but somehow the Ipod doesn't. It is...

That is a tough one. Is your iPod fully seated -- will it play music in the im600? Have you tried a different iPod in the im600 to see if it charges? Does your iPod recharge normally in other players, in a wall charger and your computer? If not, your iPod could possibly need a new battery.
Also: since it was unplugged for 3 weeks, you may just need to run the im600 through a full cycle or two (let the FM radio play until the battery is dead, with no iPod in it), then recharge the im600 for 5 or 6 hours, and THEN mount your iPod into it and see if it charges it. Be sure to unplug/plug-in the adapter into the im600 to ensure it is getting full power from the wall outlet. One last thing: the im600 will only charge the iPod when it is plugged into AC power; it won't charge the iPod while it's running on its own battery power. Good luck!

Battery

The new battery goes in the back of the Altec Lansing imt702. Remove the two screws on the lower back of the unit. The battery is connected via a clip connector. Simply press on the raised end of the clip, and pull off the other end of the connector. The battery is a Lithium-Ion 18650, 3.7V, at least 1800mAh. If you can get a battery with a higher-rated mAh, this will give you longer run times. It might be difficult to find a matching power connector on end of a new battery though. The unit will still run with the battery removed, but of course, will not power without the AC adapter connected to a wall outlet. If your unit has problems, continuously asking to Reset itself, or display+buttons flash (with volume increasing +1 for each blink), this indicates a charging problem. The battery needs to be replaced or removed immediately. You can reset the power manually by holding down the metal clip at the back of the unit for a minute, or just closing the leg/stand to see if this works. To reset unit's factory settings: hold down power & radio << channel buttons for 7 secs, press Power when asked to Reset?, Region=1 for US stations, & press Power again to set Region. Note that the battery is being drained even if the unit is off, so keep the AC connected; completely draining a well-used Li-Ion battery may shorten the rest of its battery life. Remove the battery from the unit if not in use for long periods.

IM600 rechargeable battery does not charge

The only time I can think of when such a problem would occur is when the battery is completely knackered, in which case, you'll need a new battery. There are instructions for the replacement of batteries in the manual, so all you'll need is a new battery.

I'm sorry that the camera is loosing the charge soon and flashing randomly. Please make sure that the battery is fully charged. Check if you are able to access the Menu. If yes, then, please Initialize the camera under settings 1 Menu. If you are not able to access the menu, you may have to power reset the camera by removing the battery and press n hold the power button for 1 minute continuously. After that leave the button and insert the battery and check if it helps. If the issue still persists, your camera will require service.

Battery not charging

Your battery is dead and will no longer hold a charge. If it is a newer computer, then it may be defective and covered under your warranty. If it is an older computer, this is the unfortunate thing about rechargeable batteries...eventually they will no longer hold a charge.

First of all, did you fully charge the battery using the A/C adapter before initial use? If your ipod does not fit with any of the attachments correctly, try just placing it on the dock without the attachment & it should connect fine just be sure it's connecting to the dock properly. I have the ipod nano 2nd generation & the attachments don't work, but it fits on the dock well without the attachments & works great!

Dell d620 will not go into charge mode

This is usually caused by a bad battery. Sounds like both batteries are not working properly. They may still hold some charge, but they are wearing out. After all, they are batteries, and bateries wear out. Keep in mind that some batteries are better than others, even though they may be the same brand, some will hold a charge longer, and some wear out faster. I'm on my second new battery in a year and a half on my Dell, the first held a great charge but wore out after approx 8 months, the one I'm using now still charges fine but only last about an hour and 15 mins.

After one frame battery icon flashes ( battery is full charged)

The problem is with the electric contacts between the battery and the camera. You can try cleaning them with a clean pencil eraser. Make sure you don't leave any eraser debris in the battery compartment. It is best to do this while holding the camera so that the battery compartment door is "down" so that any eraser debris will fall out of the door onto the table rather than fall into the compartment.
