Error code 109 D-Link Router DIR 109

Are you trying to set up router ?
You can set up your router manually, without the CD.
Make sure that your computer is able to go online directly through the modem.
If your computer is able to go online through the modem, that means the modem is working fine.
You will need to connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router.
open the set up page of the router and change the settings of the router according to the ISP.

what operating system?
what is the error?
is this woreless or hardwired using ethernet?

check the browser settings, check firewall settings and applications that may interfere with the connection if wireless check network security issue and the router settings or the modem.

make sure that the correct security key is correct and the same with the computr and the router ............ try updating drivers on teh computer reset router on issue ... ^_^

I think you are trying to install the router using the CD.
But you can install the router without the CD also.
If you connect the computer to the modem , does it works ?
If it works then modem is working. now connect the computer and modem to the router.
open the set up page of the router. change the Internet settings according to the ISP.

I called the D-LInk support number . The technician was extremely rude and of no help . It was so bad I returned the router to the store and bought a Linksys router. It was easier to install and works great.

press reset button for 10 seconds then all settings are defaults.
you can access your router witrh following link
http://192.168.0.1 or
http://192.168.1.1

try to login to the router, plug the router in directly into the laptop and go to 192.168.1.1 and login and see that the settings are setup correctly and also try to set the wireless with all things off with the settings set to DHCP

HTTP 302 is not an error. It's simply a request for your browser to redirect to another URI. Browers aren't supposed to show you a message, they are supposed to simply follow the redirect. You should try accessing the router interface from a different web browser, such as Firefox.

Remove the CD setup. Try calling your Dlink Manufacturer to help you install the WBR-1310 manaully.

I ended up loading the router setup cd onto another laptop, and it worked fine. I still don't know why the first laptop had the error code, but they now both, work perfectly fine. Thanks, anyway.
