SOURCE: The mode switch stays on

The units built in protection circuit might be faulty or needs resetting, this unit is operated by a rechargeable battery, try charging the batteries, you can do that by switching the mode switch to any position other than OFF, then plug in to ac outlet, charging the batteries may take up few hours up to two days, depending on batteries and their charge level,

My AX-100 till is printing a whole days journal when I do the Z report at the end of the day.

It sounds like your till is currently set to print a full journal report as part of the Z report. To change this setting, you will need to access the programming mode on your till.
The N1-N8 values you mentioned are likely options within the programming mode that control various settings. Without knowing the specific model of your till, I can't provide exact instructions for how to access programming mode or which settings to adjust. However, you should be able to find this information in the user manual for your till.
Once you're in programming mode, look for options related to the Z report or end-of-day report. You may need to change the setting for "journal print" or something similar. If you're unsure which option to change, consult the user manual or contact the manufacturer for assistance.
Once you've made the necessary changes, exit programming mode and try running a Z report again to confirm that only the desired information is being printed.

Casio 240CR how can I make reset at the end of the day. Can I make my own sale amount at the end of the day ? Thanks for helping

Turn the key to Z mode. Press CASH. that will reset and print a report. Not sure what you mean by your own amount. the report will show the sales that happened that day. Remember, the first report will have large figures if you have never reset it before but then it will be correct on the next report.

We have several voided sale invoices and want to find out what the invoices were originally for. If we pull them up by their number, they are all zero. Which makes sense as they were voided. How do we...

Im trying to find out the same think. We recently discovered a waitress was stealing by voiding cash sales. So far the only way we've been able to determine what was voided is by doing a "operation exceptions" report (which i think would only work if under permissions you have that "delete sent items" and "void invoices" have the "Log as exception" checkbox ticked) and then mathcing that up by time to the kitchen slips.

If you find a better solution, please share it.

Hello...my problem is this...... everytime me or my employees run a report....x, or z....we are all always given a report that states we have made a considerable amount of money, more than what we actually...

Hi!

Don't panic! Hair is irreplaceable, I know!

Fact: Cash registers only register what is being entered, and run a subtotal. At the end of the day, when you get the daily report, all transactions and the final amount are printed out for you.

I suspect several mistakes are/were made, and not corrected properly, or sales not voided when they should have been.
Punching an extra digit in a moment of rush is not as difficult as it seems. You'd be amazed!

One way to unravel the mystery would be to check all the day's transactions.

It is a cash register with 2 paper rolls, right? One for receipts, and one for the journal.

So, all you have to do is sit down at the end of the day and figure how many overpriced item were sold, or how many sales are duplicate, or how many sales were not voided.
And one more thing ... as Colombo would say, how many of your employees have free access to the cash register?

Do charge recipts match the register entries?
Does the cook and the bottlewasher have access to the register as well?
Do many customer come to get change?
Does the same thing happen when you are there?
And most importantly, how does your inventory compare to the sales?

Sounds like this has been going on for sometime, so take some time to try to figure out how these mistakes are made.

You're not an absentee business owner, are you?

Restaurant Pro Express - Will not let me do "End of Day". A Message pops up that says: "There is still 1 table currently open. Please close these tables before running End Of Day Function." I never set...

Just uncheck the option to have the End of Day check whether there are open tables.
Go to Manager/Options -> Setup -> Setup Screen -> System Access -> Time Clock -> and check "Ignore Time Clock"

Casio 101cr.i need a users manual.

Hi. These registers are about the most basic you can get, so they can't do a daily and monthly total.

Basically it works like this:

The machine doesn't care when you do your reports. It will just total up until it gets reset by someone. If you want a monthly, just do your reports each month. However, this means you can't do a daily.

If you turn to X mode and press CASH, you get the total so far (since you last did a Z report).
If you do the same in Z mode, it will give the report, then reset the report to zero.

If you want to see daily and monthly, you can do an X at the end of each day which will show that day and the previous days together. you will need to subtract the other days to find out what todays takings are. Then at the end of month, do a Z and that will reset you for the next month.

Otherwise, if you are interested in monthly only, then just do a Z at the end of each month.

So, what I'm saying is the machine doesn't care how many times you do an X report. It will just show you how you are doing so far, but you must do a Z report when you want it to reset everything. If you want to check if the Z report worked, just wait for the report to print, then press CASH again straight after, and you should see the figures have gone.

I hope this makes sense. If you need more advice, just ask.
