found my old one
to switch ansaphone modes:
press clear/mute to get TAD ON(or TAD OFF) displayed, then
Answer + Record: TAD ON then press 7 then 1
Answer only (no msgs): TAD ON then 7 then 2
SORTED at last!! :-)
