My phillips gogear just froze and I can't even turn it on! I tried to repair it using the Phillips Device Manager but it won't recognize my player.
Triple Reset for Philips’ GoGear:
Disconnect the Go Gear from computer. Press the reset pinhole until the player turns off. Hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard. If this pop-up does not appear, reset the player again WHILE connected to the computer. Open the Philips Device Manager, and go to Repair Tab. Reset the player one more time while connected to computer. Follow the repair instructions.
After repair is complete, upgrade the firmware for this player. Will erase all the songs, but you should be good to go again.

Frozen with error message to clear memory w/ 5G free on it. now nothing works
it won't come on. it doesn't show it connected to the computer. NOTHING>HELP
I holded it like for half an hour and nothing.
I tried both listed ideas, I reset and held in the volume + button for 2 minutes and nothing, I then reset with it connected and nothing. It is stuck on the gogear screen and wont do anything. The device manager does not show is connected, it does not show the computer is connected to it at all.
Any ideas? This is my dad-n-laws and I really need to get it fixed.
Thanks
