On bosch dishwasher if the base senses a water leak the unit will not fill & the drain pump will come on. I recommend checking for water in the base & locating the source of the leak if you see water in the base. Other possibilities; fill switch, water level switch or water valve. There is no reset for this problem.

Bosch dishwasher doesn't work. water not coming

Hi Gilgol, The link below is a Bosh Dishwasher list of error codes, I believe your error code is E3....CHEERS..
http://removeandreplace.com/2015/10/09/bosch-dishwasher-error-codes-how-to-clear-what-to-check/
Bosch Dishwasher Error Code E3
Fault Condition: Not filling with water
Repair or Check: If the water supply cut-off valve on the dishwasher is completely open but the dishwasher will not fill with water then shut off the water supply and unplug the dishwasher. Remove the water fill line and check to see if the water inlet screen valve is plugged up. If so then replace the water valve. Cleaning the screen can make the issue worse so always replace if the screen is clogged. The valve can get stuck open from gunk and therefore flood or overfill.

Wan't take on water after first rinse

see this steps and fix it. God bless you

Water Inlet Valve

The dishwasher has an electrical water valve called a water inlet valve. If the dishwasher won't fill with water, the water inlet valve might be defective. These valves are not repairable and will have to be replaced.

Float

The float assembly is normally inside the dishwasher near the door on the floor of the dishwasher. If something gets stuck underneath it and holds the float assembly up, the dishwasher won't fill with water. If the float assembly moves freely up and down, the float switch might be defective.

Float Switch

The float switch is actuated by the float assembly. It is a protection device designed to prevent the dishwasher from overfilling. If the dishwasher won't fill with water, it may be because this float switch is defective or stuck.

Water Supply Problem

The dishwasher is connected to the hot water supply from the house. Check to be sure the household water supply valve is turned on. Over time, calcium deposits can build up in the water supply valve or in the small filter screen inside the water inlet valve. The water supply line may need to be removed from the water inlet valve of the dishwasher, then run some water into a bucket to see if there is enough pressure. Be certain to turn off the water before working on the water line.

Won't let water in

Hello.

The Hotpoint is a portable dishwasher that has pump guard, overflow protector, rack bumper to prevent the rack from falling out of the dishwasher duringmovement, and temperature and wash options. When the dishwasher is properlyconnected to a water and power supply, it should work well in general. However,if something goes wrong, such as if the dishwasher will not fill with water, some troubleshooting methods may be beneficial in finding a solution to theproblem.

Instructions.

1 Ensure the water faucet is turned on and the connection between the water andthe dishwasher is secure. The hose connector should be snapped into placebetween the water faucet and the water hose.

2 Straighten the water hose and check for possible obstructions in the waterhose, the water faucet and the hose connector. Clean as necessary. Turn on thefaucet hot water slowly until it is all the way on to ensure proper water flowto the dishwasher.

3 Open and close the dishwasher door firmly. The dishwasher will not start awash cycle if the door is ajar. Verify that the dishwasher is plugged in to aworking power supply and that a wash cycle has been selected.

4 Avoid running other appliances that use water, such as a clothes washer, while the dishwasher is running, to avoid improper water pressure. This mayresult in a lack of water flow to the dishwasher.

5 Check to make sure large dishes, such as cookie sheets, pots or pans, are notblocking the spray jets. Avoid overloading the dishwasher.

Thanks.

My dishwasher is not heating the water up just running cold

Try turning on the faucet by the dishwasher and let the water run until it gets hot. Once this is done turn on the dishwasher and see if the water is warm or hot. Most dishwashers do not heat the water (residential dishwasher) they take the hot water from the hot water side of the sink. If the water heater is located a distance from the dishwasher then the cold water fills the dishwasher before the hot water can make it to the unit. This should cure your problem.

Hope this helped

Dishwasher wont fill with water

Make sure you get water to the dishwasher. Check to see if the water shut-off valve (located under the sink) is open. If you get water to the dishwasher, but there is still no water inside during the fill cycle, the problem might be with a faulty water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side), in which case replace the water valve.

Asko dishwasher d3530. The water in the dishwasher is not hot.

Generally speaking, dishwashers don't heat cold water on their own. Be sure the dishwasher is connected to a hot water supply and that hot water is available to the dishwasher at the START of the cycle.

Often it takes hot water several seconds for house plumbing to deliver hot water to an outlet. If the dishwasher is connected to the kitchen hot water supply, run the water in the sink until the water runs hot before you start the dishwasher.

Dishwashers often have heaters to heat the water even hotter than most home water heaters, but they are not intended to heat cool or cold water. You MUST furnish hot water to the dishwasher from the time the cycle is started.

I've seen houses that take so long for hot water to reach a faucet, the dishwasher is already full (of cold water) before the first drop of hot water reaches it.

Good luck. Hope this helps.

AEH Favorit 50730 dishwasher seems to work fine other than the water never gets hot. Is it easy to replace the heating element or whatever that could be faulty?

If this dishwasher is a residential dishwasher the water that is supplied to the unit is from the hot water side of the sink supply. The dishwasher does not heat the water it uses water from the water heater that is connected to the house. It sounds as if the dishwasher is hooked up to the cold water supply instead of the hot water supply. The heating element you see in the dishwasher is for drying purposes and not for heating water. I would check the hot water supply for your dishwasher to see if that could be the problem. Also remember unless you have a recirculating pump on the hot water there will be an amount of water in the pipe from the water heater and the dishwasher that has sat and cooled down over a period of time therefore when you turn on the dishwasher you will not get hot water immediately due to the distance the dishwasher is from the water heater. You will notice when you turn on the hot water to thew sink you do not get hot water right away you let it run for a minute before it gets hot since the dishwasher is connected to the same valve as your hot water to the sink it acts the same way.
Good luck on your repairs hope this helped.

Kenmore Elite dishwasher not cleaning well and leaving dark stains on the dishwasher walls. water pumps in to correct level and pumps out. First cup of soap the water is just warm. Second up its hot and...

Check the following to address this issue

1. No water

2. Not enough water
If there is not enough water, the dishes would not get cleaned. This could be caused by a partially closed water shut-off valve (located under the sink), or a faulty dishwasher water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side).

3. Clogged spay arms
There is usually two, sometimes three spray arms in a dishwasher. Make sure there is no debris blocking the holes inside each spray arm.

4. Water temperature is too low
To get the best results, the water has to be at 120 degrees Fahrenheit when entering the dishwasher.

5. Not enough soap
If you only fill one part of the soap cup, try adding soap to both parts.

6. Smoky film on dishes and glasses
This problem occurs due to excessive calcium build up inside the dishwasher. Try cleaning you dishwasher using a dishwasher cleaner.
