You more than likely heard a pop noise when this failed, the infamous pop of death when the Y sustain module fails. First check the various fuses located on the Y and X sustain modules. If a fuse is open you have lost the large IC on either PC board. These boards are located left side 3 module and far right side module with ribbon cables attaching to display panel. This can be a complicated repair due to one of the buffer modules failing, The Y sustain will be identifies by Samsung drawing number LJ92-01200A, The Buffers are LJ-92-01202A, LJ92-01203A. This is most likely a job for a pro because 1 of or all 3 modules can be at fault. Some services on e-bay for these modules offer rebuilding the Y-main module and also testing the Y-buffers. If you want to DIY this TV this would be the best Idea, send three boards to a rebuilder on E-bay.
Main digital processor IC on the board has damaged. It is not a replaceable part, as normal soldering techniques cannot be applied to de-solder it out from the board, or to solder a new one in place. Card base replacement should be done.

you have a problem on one of the boards in this unit you would have to start isolating the source to pit it down
its probably best you get some help form a servicer in your area this is a philips inside and made by samsung
Commonly it's going to be a power supply related problem. The two boards that need to be looked at is the Main Power Supply Board or the power supply board for the screen. The one that powers the screen, some manufactures call it a Backlight Inverter Board.
If you have some electronic experience, you can sometimes find a Service Manual for the TV over the internet for less than $20. It will have the all resource material for repairing your TV model. It's just the matter of replacing the bad part on the circuit board.
You may need to replace the Y-buffer to say the least. And if this is not the problem, you will need to replace theY-main board. If the Y-main board is bad you will also change the Y-buffer. Please see a Philips Tech!!!
