It's one of the settings on the clutch ring. Or do you mean it won't turn there?

Is there a diagram to repair the 18volt drill

Yes, All diagrams are available at http://servicenet.dewalt.com/Home

Just put your model number into the search box. Have the type number handy too as it will ask for that. You can view and download the manuals and diagrams from there.

Dewalt dc925 drill, the chuck jaws appear to be jammed tight shut and will not open. any ideas?

Hi, soak the chuck in crc overnight then put the drill in low speed and reverse. Hold the chuck by hand or with multi grips and pull the trigger. Hope this helps, regards Phil.

Clutch slips reguardless of setting, in both drill and hammer mode. won't drill. is this a transmittion problem?

You can get the part replaced with metal gearing and clutch and that shouldn't happen again, but the cost may not be worth it

Do you have a safety manual i can access online for your 18v battery operated hammer drills

You can find the instruction manual for most Dewalt tools at http://servicenet.dewalt.com/ . Enter your model in the Find Parts search box and then press Search The basic safety instructions are on the first page of the manual. For the DCD950, Dewalt lists 6 models: http://servicenet.dewalt.com/Parts/Search?searchedNumber=Dcd950&searchType=1 . There are three models listed for the Dc925: http://servicenet.dewalt.com/Parts/Search?searchedNumber=Dc925&searchType=1 . Pick your model and click on the link. You will find the PDF link to the Instruction manual on the right hand side of the page under Downloads.

I hope this helps.

I have a dewalt dc925 combi drill the chuck keep slipping and also the setting ring is hard to adjust . What can i do top solve this?

Probably needs a new transmission. They cost about $34 plus shipping. Easy to fix. Just remove the four torx screws from the metal (gray in color) part of the drill. Then pull it apart. The transmission comes in a one piece cassette. Pull out the old transmission, insert the new one, put the front back on and tighten the screws.
