Starts cycle, fills with water, drum spins once then stops and 3 lights come on. Nothing happens after that
It sounds like the brushes have gone in the motor

problem may just be that drum is not turning so you think program is stopped. try cancelling and select spin program and see if you get spin

normally i would suggest changing motor carbons for hotpoint washers, but my experience is that the WMA motor armature is weaker than the carbons, normally if there is no connection fault a replacement motor is the answer 9 times out of 10, not a job for the amature

The water level vacuum switch are not working , check hose might lose.
SOURCE: No longer rinses or fast spins...although drum does go round slowly...
LETS check the DRAIN MOTOR PUMP it could be clogged , open panel of washer to access inside , look for a small motor with 2 hoses connected to it , take it out , clean it , re install and try it again , hope this helps AJ

Replace brushes on motor it is really easy to do. Take top off washer and you can get to motor quite easily. Mine running like a dream now. cost me £8
