I have a SOYO 26" TV. It will not allow my to change the input display. It is stuck on AV2. I need to switch it to PC as it is also used as a monitor in the spare bedroom. Any advice would be appreciated. I have tried a hard boot, but shooting it and putting it out of my misery has been a thought. LOL It is a good TV and everything else seems to work excellent, I just can't get it to switch between input devices.
The main board is having an issue thats why the inputs wont switch.
Is there anything that I could try doing other than replacing the main board? I am asking out of desperation. I don't really use it much and don't really want to put much or any money into it if I don't have to. It is in the guest room but part of the hosue network. Without it they don't have movies, TV or music, just DVD. Is there an external box on the market that I could hook everything up to and run through the one input on the TV?
some cable boxes have AV outputs that should work other than that a Roku box streams movies but you need a internet connection for that also some dvd players have netflix and Roku built in. Hope that helps.

Long story short:
Had the same problem with my Soyo.
Thought it was the power supply board problem that everyone else was reporting.
ordered one. Plugged it in. Did not work.
Inspected the Main/Logic board and found what looked like a black button that could be depressed. It is located to the right of main processor on the board. You can't really miss it.
With the TV plugged in, I pressed the suspect button. The TV made a buzzing/clicking noise for a few moments and the stuck blue illuminated power button faded away.
Curious by this, I pressed the power button and low and behold the TV comes to life!
Looks like I found a "reset" button which seems to have fixed my problem.
Thanks Soyo for not bothering to mention that such a button exists.
I hope the rest of you have the same good luck. In the event you are still in need of a power supply board, email me. I have a spare now it seems. ;)

1 - Hold the clear tv buttom until all 4 light flash red
2- Press the red tv buttom
3- Press the amount of time needed on the up cursor ( around select buttom) until your tv shut down
4-When the tv goes off press the search buttom ( at the end on the right side )
5-Press record
Then u can use the red tv buttom to control ur tv and u can control the volume on satelitte mode without going back to tv mode , if u press too much time while searching the code and the tv wont light back , do the same thing but instead pressing the up cursor press the down one to go back on the code it will be faster .

I HAVE FOUND 2 2200uf CAPS ON THE POWER SUPPLY BOARD THAT ARE PUFFED UP. CHANGING THEM USUALLY SOLVES THE PROBLEM. THERE'S ALSO A RESET BUTTON ON THE MAIN BOARD YOU MAY NEED TO RESET AFTER CHANGING THE CAPS.
