    yes i do have a cable and software installed. but that software only shows still photographs. can u guide me which media software is used to transfer the video files.coz i have read many same problems like this on website and they are recommending to install a software.

Have u tried using the usb cable. u shud b having a software installation and usb connection guide...if u have any further doubts or problems...plz do let me know

If it comes with micro tape then you need to provide a USB audio-video adapter. Connect and play it. Or if it comes with memory card then you need a card reader.

How to transfer record to my laptopeduard
needs drivers to install camera to laptop. or In order to place taped videos to the PC, you need a Fire Wire port on your computer, a 6pin to 4pin fire wire cable, and a lot of hard drive space. One hour is about 14 gigs when transfered 100% uncompressed. After editing and compression though the file size is very manageable.

**For every minute you record it takes one minute to transfer to the PC*

or you need a usb videop capture to transfer video to your laptop

I have a jvc gr d750. i cannot transfer videos from cam to computer. laptop reformatted, device cannot be detected. connection firewire. no cd with product on purchase
You badly need CD, visit your nearest JVC Center, you can ask a copy of it, you might need the application software as well, it comes all together too large to send via email. Important Note, Connect first your cam and pc before installing the driver. Hope it helps

What do I need to transfer video from jvc cam to my laptop
Hi, connect the cam and PC using 4 pin firewire cable. Switch on the cam. Open Windows Movie Maker and import the video from device.
You can then use Move Maker to any disc burning software like Nero to create the movie disks.

Download cd's for jvc gz-mc100
this camera doesn't come with software to transfer videos. Just plug your camera (or insert the cf card, on a card reader) and copy your videos to your pc. you can use the image import feature on windows to do the job (but don't delete the videos with your pc. If you do the camera will state a error)

Movie transfer
hey emron,

this usually happens if you dont have a driver for that cam in your laptop. as long as your laptop doesnt recognize you cam, try jumping from one usb port to another. when the new hardware wizard appears, this will help you to connect that to your system.
